Only 2 per cent of Iraqi citizens responded that the foreign troops in their country were “liberators”, while a whopping 92 per cent called them “occupiers”. These findings were the results of a private poll commissioned by the US-led Coalition Provisional Authority taken last May. Consequently, the Bush administration's last remaining justification for the invasion of Iraq has been demolished.
